RegulatE

Would you play basketball with a flat ball?  Would you send your children out to ride their bikes with deflated tires? Would you drive your car without ever giving mechanical services?

Your piano is a wonderfully complex machine made out of wood, felt, and metal. Think about that! Wood expands and contracts. Gravity and playing compress felt. Metal need to be tightened. Your piano needs to be regulated about every 5-10 years to create spring and control so that it functions properly, and so that you can play properly. Without regulation, the thousands of moving parts in your piano weaken, get sticky, and break more easily. It also hurts your hands and can cause injury over time. Ask me for an assessment. I'm happy to help. This is one of my specialties!
