Nobody likes it when the piano sounds wonky. You may not really know what you're hearing, but your brain still does. It also affects you, and it is what develops your child's sense of pitch. Nothing makes me happier than making your family happy. I love making your piano happy too. Your piano will last a lot longer, and will be more stable if it is tuned regularly.  Most people tune their piano every six months. The piano goes out of tune from the season changes and from very heavy playing. When a piano is not tuned for more than a year, the strings loosen and have to be retrained. If it has been a few years since your last tuning, I anxiously await your call. I love bringing beautiful pianos back to themselves.
